I get it. None of us wants to change our passwords. But this chart may just change your mind. It made a difference to me.
The thieves are getting smarter so we must be just as vigilant.
Don’t let them win. If the email is not addressed “to you” (your name), don’t open it.

For instance, the email is from Amazon; you hover over the “from” email address and it is NOT from Amazon.com; DO NOT open it.
Do not be fooled. They are counting on you to open and respond. If you are not 100% sure, don’t sweat it. If it’s important enough you can call the merchant (yes, it may take time to get through but this is YOUR MONEY we are talking about). Chances are, they will ask you a few questions; trying to find out if it is you. And it may all be the same except til you get to the email address. That is probably different. Do NOT give anyone your card number that may ask for it UNLESS you know who you are dealing with.
